I’m using photography within psychotherapy and I'm also interested in nature-based psychotherapy, using natural environments as the therapy room. My practice is integrative which means that I’ve trained in different styles of therapy, so that I can adapt to you rather than expecting you to fit into anyone model, these approaches include;

My Approach 

When it comes to counselling and psychotherapy, I see it as pretty straightforward: talking can help, especially when talking leads to change. One of the main goals of therapy is to enable you to move forward in life.


I believe that much of the pain in life is due to the challenges in adapting to change. Life circumstances change, and we may experience this as quick and sudden, or as a slow burn that occurs over a longer period of time. Often there is awareness of a capacity being reached, an imminent breaking point, a crisis, where the old ways of responding aren’t working anymore. We may feel out of control and dissatisfied with life.

We may also feel a need to make inner, personal changes, yet without knowing exactly how or where to begin. I think this is where counselling and psychotherapy can be helpful. It can be liberating to speak with someone outside one’s normal circle of friends and family.

I see it as my job to work with you, at your own pace, holding your unique concerns and needs in mind, to enable you to get back on track. To live life to the full.  Some of the issues I work with are:
